Adventures in Education

I have wanted to share this forever, and I finally am.  This is one thing in my classroom that I get more compliments on.  While the setting is not ideal because desks are still stacked for summer floor cleaning, I knew it was now or never.  So here goes!  The easiest most colorful curtains I have ever had are beach towels.  Yes, just a simple beach towel turned horizontally and hemmed on one side.  (Don't worry if you don't sew.  I don't either.  Just ask a friend or family member.)  Add a tension rod and you are ready to go.  Mine have been used for 4 years now and they still look bright.  They are so easy to wash and they don't wrinkle either.  I wish the pictures were better, but you can get the idea.
